612North Event Space and Catering has come a long way. President and CEO Munsok So is no stranger to running a prosperous business and providing stellar hospitality. As the owner of two Drunken Fish locations, a St. Louis favorite first established in 2003, So’s forte has always been delivering a spectacular customer experience. The only recurring issue with the restaurant locations was having too many customers and not enough space to accommodate them.
When patrons inquired about larger dinner parties, Munsok realized he was perfectly positioned to give them the space they needed. He decided to help revive Laclede’s Landing with a touch of sophistication.
After a few bumps in the road during the contract and construction stages and over $3 million of renovations, 612North successfully hosted its first event in 2018. Since then, Munsok’s venue has shown no signs of slowing down, filling its calendar month after month with all kinds of celebrations—especially weddings.
Located in the Cutlery Building on Laclede’s Landing, the spaces 612North offers are remarkable, making it the quintessential place for tying the knot.
