EMERGENCY

The brave, kind officers of the St. Louis Police and Fire departments are always available to assist you during your time in Downtown St. Louis. Whether you simply need guidance or accompaniment or have witnessed or been victimized by a crime, operators in the city’s Emergency center are standing by to take your call and quickly dispatch a nearby patrol. And if you see an officer during your stay, make sure to give him or her a hearty ‘Thank You!’ for the valuable service these departments provide.

TRANSIT

Downtown St. Louis offers visitors several public transportation options through the Metropolitan St. Louis Transit Agency. With six downtown stops on the MetroLink light-rail system and regular service from over 15 MetroBus lines, public transit is a fun, easy option for getting around St. Louis.

Metrolink and MetroBus fares vary between $2.00 and $7.50, depending on which fare type is right for you. Laclede’s Landing is accessible via the Arch-Laclede’s Landing MetroLink station stop.

VISITOR SERVICES

For information and materials about all that Downtown St. Louis has to offer, visit the Information Center of the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, located in the America’s Center. Their friendly staff is well-trained (and superbly knowledgeable) about all restaurants, attractions, destinations and activities in and around the city. Satellite kiosks are located in Kiener Plaza, Union Station, Lambert St. Louis International Airport and Forest Park.
